On the last full day of our trip to the Smokies during Colton’s fall break we intended to go to Dollywood for a couple of hours. It just so happened that this was the coldest day of our trip so we thought that Dollywood was not a good idea. Instead we ventured out to find a fun putt-putt course. On our way to pay for putt-putt we found a cute little merry-go-round and an arcade. We decided to make a pit stop.
Thankfully, it does not take too much to entertain these two. I did not think they would really like this ride because it was so small and “kiddie”, but they did…
I think they ended up riding it three time!
Being a good Daddy and buttoning Claire up… it was SOOO cold!
We finally ventured inside the arcade. Colton was not a big fan at first because it was so loud, but once he got a few “gold coins” and seeing he could play a few games he was ready to have some fun!
(Yes, the Superhero is dressed for summertime weather… you would just have to know him! It has to be Sunday or snow on the ground before he will wear a long sleeve shirt!)
I thought Colton would enjoy Skee Ball so that is where we spent most of our time. It took him a while to get the concept of rolling the ball – he wanted to toss it. Chris is so patient and such a good “teacher”.
Of course little miss wanted in on the action too!
They played a few other small games and then we headed out for lunch.
We decided to pass on playing putt-putt and grabbed some chick-fil-a and headed back to the cabin. It was a great last day of our trip!
